Bumpers funding & voluntary additional fees & charges explained -

At Bumpers Nursery we offer the EYEF (Early Years Entitlement Funding), depending on what you are entitled too, it could be 15 hours or 30 hours free childcare where parents can use it across the week. We stretch our funding as we are a full time nursery setting open all year round. These hours can be used Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm.

If you require more than your funded hours you can add on additional hours at our hourly rate below, as well as our additional voluntary services for a real enhanced nursery experience!
If you do not qualify for funding you will be charged at our normal hourly rates listed below, and all additional services are included.
Additional voluntary services are not a requirement to obtain a space at Bumpers Nursery.
Please note, our fees and voluntary chargeable extras are reviewed annually.

| Voluntary Meals, Snacks & Drinks - Breakfast is a selection of cereals/toast & fruit, Lunch & Tea is homemade, freshly prepared on site daily following NHS guidelines 2x snack one morning, one afternoon. All dietary needs and requirements are catered for | Per session. (2 sessions per day) | £5 |
| Voluntary Additional Enhanced Services - Enhanced offsite experiences (Museum trips, supermarket/ fruit and vegetable shopping trips, park trips, care home visits etc) Physical movement and music sessions, animal visits, children’s birthday celebration - (Information books on different topics such as ‘new home’, ‘new sibling’, ‘grief, & ‘oral health’ etc for parents to borrow) -in our Parent lending library - Bumpers branded Book bag provided. | Voluntary Consumables - Wipes, nappy creams and nappy sacks - Sun cream - Parent involvement events (we regularly invite parents in for a ‘tea party’ or ‘breakfast’ to celebrate occasions such as Mother’s/Father’s Day, Father Christmas Day etc. We invite parents to join us for breakfast or tea and often organise a stay and play session. Do we offer completely 'free' although we like to refer to it as 'funded' hours?
Yes absolutely! Both our settings offer funded sessions between 8.30am - 5.30pm where parents can access their funded hours with no additional costs. However many of our families choose our all inclusive option our Bumpers Bliss Package for excellent value and convenience, making things easier for busy families.
Can you send in packed lunches?
At Bumpers Nursery, we’re committed to providing children with freshly prepared meals that meet NHS standards as part of our Bumpers Bliss Package. This approach helps us create a safe, inclusive, and positive mealtime experience that supports every child’s well-being, confidence, and development.
Should you decide to opt-out and not participate in the Bumpers Bliss Package, parents may provide a cold packed lunch from home. Parents must ensure that all packed lunches adhere to the nursery’s policies and guidelines regarding food, nutrition, and allergens.
By maintaining these standards, we ensure that every child at Bumpers Nursery enjoys a safe, healthy, and enriching mealtime environment. Please speak to a member of the team to discuss further.

We offer sessions from 8-30pm - 5.30pm, mornings and afternoons for families who choose not to pay for the optional extras listed above, subject to availability, so please get in touch to enquire.
If you would like to opt out of the Bumpers Bliss Package across any other sessions please get in touch to discuss.
